DAF - Dissolved Air Flotation

   Dissolved Air Flotation

DAF- The Dissolved Air Flotation system is a wastewater treatment process that effectively removes suspended matter such as Total Suspended Solids (TSS) and Fat, Oils, and Grease (FOGs) and other pollutants using recirculated water that is super saturated with dissolved air. As these two mixtures blend together, microscopic bubbles attach to solid particulates, giving them enough buoyancy to surface in the tank and subsequently removed by a skimming mechanism.

The Clarified water flows out via under-over weir that may be suitable for discharge to a waste water treatment facility. This innovatives add-on to our wastewater treatment system is currently available in compact sizes to cater to prospective users with limited wastewater discharge but contains a disproportionate volume of suspended matter. The 2019 series even starts from a 0.5 to a 1 cu.m per hour treatment capability.
